Senior Web Development Engineer - Full Time

Who are we and what are we looking for?

Lief is a rapidly growing social-care SaaS startup based in the UK. Through our software offerings, we’re bringing radical change in a traditionally paper-centric industry. Our users save an average of 10 hrs per week thanks to our technology; time which can be better used towards their core function of caregiving. We’re a fully remote, distributed team since our inception, with offices in London and Bangalore.

We are looking to grow our lean product team with people who’re interested in building socially impactful products and shaping the culture of Lief.

We are looking for a brilliant Web Development Engineer with full stack experience to work in our fast paced delivery environment.

Tech Stack: ReactJS, Next.js, NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma and Postgres

What will you be doing?

If you’re successfully hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others:

Architecting new products in collaboration with the co-founders, design and product team
Improving Lief SaaS web application ecosystem which helps residential care homes better track, analyse and improve the care provided to resident children.
Collaborating with co founders, users, developers and designers to ideate, design, prototype, validate and launch new feature sets and products
Creating scalable frontend components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers using ReactJS & Next.js
Building custom APIs using NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma and Postgres
Optimising and managing deployments using bitbucket, Digital Ocean and GCP
Analysing and determining the best tools/packages and tech stacks for new solutions
Making a social impact with every line of code

What you’ll need to bring to the table?

Full stack software development experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js and Node.js
Ability to architect a full stack scalable web application
Experience with creating data models for and working with either an SQL or a NoSQL database
Experience with a cloud deployment system such as GCP, DO or AWS
Ability to collaborate with a team of developers, product managers and designers
Working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Good to have

Expertise in building cross-platform mobile applications
experience in UI/UX design and accessible web applications
published original web application(s)

Compensation

INR 14-20 Lacs Per Annum CTC + ESOPs.
